Upcoming Community Network Mixer
🌱 Permaculture Network Mixer – Save the Date! 🌱
Hola a todos! Just a friendly reminder and invitation to our upcoming Permaculture Network Mixer!
🗓️ Date: Monday, May 26th, 2025 ⏰ Time: 2:00 PM – 6:00 PM 📍 Location: Pura Vista Glamping, El Castillo
Join us for an afternoon of connection, learning, and inspiration as we strengthen our permaculture network. We’ll have:
🍲 A delicious potluck with our signature themed categories:
1️⃣ Wild Foods/Drinks – Made with wild plants or fungi
2️⃣ Fermented Foods/Drinks – Show off your best ferments!
3️⃣ Herbal Preparations – infusions, tinctures, or any other herbal creations
4️⃣ Homegrown – Straight from your garden to the table
5️⃣ Whole Grains – Celebrating traditional, whole-grain goodness
6️⃣ Macrobiotic – Balanced, mindful, and wholesome dishes
• 🎨 A collaborative and creative collective mandala made with natural materials.
• 🧺 A designated space for the swap and sale of your DIY and homegrown products! Bring your extra seedlings, handmade crafts, ferments, etc.
• 🎁 An opportunity to swap or donate items you no longer need that could be a support to others. The organizers will ensure these items find a good home within our network or the wider El Castillo community if there’s no immediate interest within the group. Let’s unclutter our homes and strengthen our community by relocating useful objects. (Please, no junk!)
• 🗣️ Engaging talks on pollinators and fungi cultivation support. For the pollinator talk, we encourage you to bring pollinator-friendly plants to share with others! Any leftover plants will be lovingly planted in Pura Vista Glamping’s pollinator garden.
• 🪴 As our network’s ethnobotanical community garden is also at Pura Vista Glamping, we encourage you to bring a perennial plant to contribute to this beautiful shared space.
• 📧 We’ll be collecting emails for our network’s newsletter, so you can stay updated on future events and our permaculture network news.
Please bring your own plate, cup, cutlery, and a cushion to sit on, as well as a dish to share according to the potluck categories. (Kindly refrain from bringing and consumption of junk drugs and hard alcohol as this space is not intended for them)
