“Madre Tierra International Itinerant Festival Coming to Lago Arenal & Monteverde!”

Get ready for a vibrant celebration of nature, community, and sustainability! The 5th edition of the Madre Tierra Festival Internacional Itinerante is coming to the beautiful regions of Lago Arenal and Monteverde in Costa Rica from April 20th to 26th, 2025. This year’s festival, themed “Polinizando saberes, cultivando futuro” (Pollinating knowledge, cultivating future), promises a week filled with engaging activities, workshops, music, and opportunities to connect with the environment and local communities.

A Festival for Mother Earth

The Madre Tierra Festival is more than just an event; it’s a movement. It brings together people from all walks of life to celebrate our planet and learn how to better care for it. This year, the festival is shining a spotlight on the vital role of bats and pollinators in general in our ecosystems. Bats are amazing creatures and essential pollinators, pest controllers, and seed dispersers, and the festival aims to raise awareness about their importance among a list of others.
