The Gavilana Permaculture Network recently held an event on the occasion of International Permaculture Day, which was a huge success. The objective of the event was to bring together people who are interested in permaculture to share ideas, seeds, food, music, and more.

The event was attended by both outside visitors and members of the network, who showcased their work and offerings. The beekeeping stand, black pepper expo, wooden folk statues, and BSF cultivation kit for producing animal feed alternative to the conventional supply chain were just a few of the highlights of the event. Members also brought in the abundance of their gardens, which were used to prepare delicious soups. There were also several bread makers who contributed their offerings to the event. Special thanks go to AWU for providing the space for the event.

The Gavilana Permaculture Network is formed around the region encompassing loosely the Arenal and La Fortuna area in Costa Rica. The general goals of any permaculture network are to create sustainable and regenerative systems of agriculture and design that are modeled after natural ecosystems. The network aims to support and connect individuals, organizations, and communities who are interested in permaculture and regenerative living.
